The Xi’an Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau has issued a notice to strictly regulate the production and construction quality management of ready mixed concrete in response to the recent discovery of substandard concrete strength during provincial inspections.
Strictly review the qualifications of production enterprises, implement on-site joint acceptance, strictly prohibit unauthorized addition of water and making test blocks on behalf of others, and hold the five parties responsible for construction, supervision, testing, and production enterprises accountable.
Those who fail to meet the strength standards and falsify data shall be ordered to stop work for rectification and held accountable.
