A concrete retarding accident caused by improper dosage of admixtures

Concrete pouring for the five story structural beams, slabs, and columns of a construction site began at 4:00 pm on August 21, 2017, and was completed around 1:00 am on August 22.

At around 9:00 on August 22nd, construction workers reported that the last two trucks of concrete poured this time did not set, resulting in delayed setting.

Our company sent testing personnel to the site to inspect the situation.

Other parts have already passed final setting, while the setting part is the last pouring part of the five layer structural slab, which has a soft surface and can be clearly marked with footprints, indicating that the concrete has not yet set initially.
